Miley Cyrus’s and Liam Hemsworth’s Relationship

Their love story started over a decade ago.

The couple met in 2009 while filming romantic comedy “The Last Song”, and everyone said it was love at first sight. They officially started dating a year later, and became inseparable.

Neil Lane is one of the most celebrated jewelry designers in the world. Anyone who’s anyone knows who he is.

Before he started working for Hollywood divas, he spent several years in Paris, pursuing his passion and mastering his craft.

Neil Lane’s creations were on the hands of Hollywood divas while they were receiving their Oscars and Golden Globes.

He also designed engagement rings for many celebrity brides. However, he recalls Miley’s engagement ring with great affection.

He says Liam asked him to create something unique, elegant, and vintage at the same time. That’s why the designer decided to create magic using a precious nineteenth century-stone.

The Style of the Ring

The ring represents Art Nouveau style, reminding us of Old Hollywood divas. The first thing you notice is a beautiful diamond at the center of a golden flower.

The ring has 18k yellow gold solitaire settings. The designer opted for a classical type of setting that allows the stone to stand out . There are four additional prongs to keep the stone safe.

When it comes to the impressive center stone, it’s an old mine cut diamond with an elegant shape, that’s very difficult to find today. The diamond itself has 3.5 carats.

Old mine cut diamonds were popular among royal personages of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Today, they cost a small fortune. That’s if you manage to find them.

Liam Hemsworth was able to afford a genuine antique diamond for his fiancée, but for those who can’t, there are alternatives. Cushion cut diamonds can look very similar to Miley’s ring, but they’re easier to find and more affordable.

When you look closer, you’ll see delicate vintage details on both sides of the ring. The designer spent hours decorating the ring with smaller gems and ornaments.

Miley and Liam never talked about the price of the ring, but experts estimate it has to be worth around $250.000.

When it comes to the second ring, they’ve been very mysterious. We don’t know who designed it nor the price tag. However, we can assume it’s more modest than the original engagement ring from 2012.
