Beethoven Brooch. Circa 1925 (Antique, Art Deco Era)

This stunning antique brooch centers an old European cut diamond, bezel-set and weighing approximately 0.17 carats. The center diamond is accented by floral openwork set with single cut diamonds. Two curved rows of calibre natural sapphires are set east and west of the center diamond, followed by diagonal rows of rose cut diamonds. Additional sapphires are set into the shape of arrows at either end of the brooch. Seed pearls and single cut diamonds are set along the top and bottom of the brooch. The additional diamonds weigh approximately 0.56 carats total, and the total weight of the sapphires is approximately 1.10 carats. This brooch is from the Art Deco era, and was handcrafted in platinum circa 1925.

The brooch is approximately 5.20cm in length.
